Fact: Monument "Polish"
P1 - Front or Top Only.
P2 - Front and Back.
P3 - Front, Back, and Top - Not Including the Bottom.
P4 - Four Sides.
P5 - Front, Back, Top, and Two Sides.
P6 - Front, Back, Top, Bottom, Two Sides (Ends) - IE - Beach backs, etc.

Fact: A Cemetery "Runner!"
A cemetery "Runner" is a concrete structure that "Runs" the length of a section in a cemetery. These concrete "Runners" can separate two rows of burial sites and is where each individual monument is placed. "Runners" are the foundation.
Fact: Granite has different Densities!
All quarries mine different densities and colors of granite. The darker the color of granite the more dense it is. Likewise, the lighter the color the less dense it is.

Fact: In all quarries the beginning color of granite may and can change.
Due to the way granite is formed, the amount of heat, the time of cooling and the pressure, can make the color of granite change from one cut to another. This is why, when ordering a monument, the base and foundation should be ordered together to get a matching color for all three pieces.

Fact: Bases.
A "base" is immediately under the monument to lift and protect the polished upright tablet, pillow, or flat markers from damage. If the family prefers one or more bases can elevate the monument to a desired height.
Fact: Foundations.
A foundation is placed under the monument and base to help prevent the monument from shifting, settling, or falling over due to soil conditions. Also, depending on the cemetery a foundation may or may not be required and may be of granite or reinforced concrete.
Fact: About Wing Die Monuments.
A Wing Die monument has two or more separate Upright Tablets with a Plinth in between each.
There are many reasons for a separate Wing Die Tablet.
A Wing Die Monument can be of any design, color, or size.
A Plinth separates the two Upright Tablets and is generally of a matching, or complimentary granite color.
The Plinth can have a common family name, or any other significant epitaph, graphic, granite sculpture, or matching granite vase.
